About Kali Pearson, RDN, CDCES, CLT
Welcome, so glad to have you here! I use functional medicine to dig deep and find the root causes of your symptoms and we collaborate together to develop a personalized plan to get you THRIVING throughout motherhood!
My love for others and listening with my whole heart leads me to reach out in helping everyone become better with each new day!
Balancing 2 pregnancies, work & married life has made me extremely discerning in how I want to live my life. Healthful eating, exercise, daily mindfulness are significant in providing the needed energy and strength to keep up with all the wonderful duties of motherhood.
Growing up in CO and in a health conscious, active family began my bountiful love for nutrition and not just looking at the surface, but wanting to dig deep to know all the why’s of what was going on inside my body. Therefore studying nutrition and becoming a Registered Dietitian only seemed natural.
It was not until after my 1st child that I realized how important these healthful habits had become part of my continued learning and active participation in a healthy lifestyle. After my 1st turned one, I became very ill at a turn of a dime and was told that I had a tumor on my lung and it would need to be removed immediately before my lung collapsed. As there was many unanswered questions, I continued to keep my eyes fixed above. Fast forward the surgeon told me I would be in ICU for a month and I thought to myself: I can not be there that long. After finding out the tumor was benign and spending a week in ICU and on the floor, my heart was overjoyed with thankfulness of good health. I know without a doubt my belief in the One above and trying to stay on top of what I was putting in my body has put me where I am at today.
After spending many years working specifically with Gestational Diabetes, PCOS, Pregnancy and other hormonal changes and gaining my Certified Diabetes Educator license it has lead me in providing the latest research to not only help myself, but also my clients in improving their own lives.
So is taking care of myself daily easy.. NO and are there days where I don’t do my exercise, spend time in mindfulness or eat correctly..YES! This is not about perfection, but realizing what we do most of the time continues to have the greatest effects on our overall health and I am here to help, support and listen and come up with a plan that is personalized to YOU.
